Cask in a marquee at the Warwick Raceway Family Festival. Didn't make great notes but it was a light cloudy amber pour, small off-white head. Quite a malty beer with notable caramel character, light fruitiness, quite moreish. Enjoyed it.

500ml bottle from the brewer. Best before 07/24, batch 23.24. Poured a slightly hazy dark brown colour with a short-lived, fizzy off-white head. The aroma is roasted malt, red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate sour and liqourice bitter, with a dry, roasty, ashtray, tart plum palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Chocolate and coffee? Sweetness? Sadly not in the beer I’ve just drunk. The tart fruit is more likely to be a mild infection. This is a poor poor Porter which ended up as drainpour. Really disappointed.

Draft at Barge & Quarterdeck. Hazy orange, white head. Aroma is hoppy, mildly fruity. Taste is the same really it's pleasantly hoppy, mild tropical fruits, very safe and inoffensive with a mild bitter finish.
