Description
Founded in 2018 in Boothtown, this is as Yorkshire as it gets. Steep hills and grit wrapped up in a cracking sense of humour.

That said, our beers are no joke. Ours is a fully vegan range, the core beers and the seasonal bevs! Wherever we can, we get the finest of local ingredients in. On the off-chance Yorkshire can’t provide, our passions lead us to the best options. The result – some absolutely belting beers.

Beer number #6 at the Skipton Beer Festival 2025. Took a walk to the town's castle as far as its Gate Tower earlier. This Tower named brew is an another traditional styled beer - all have been so far, hopped mainly, mild fruit available. Clear golden colour.

Cask (gravity) at Brunswick, Derby. Pours pale yellow with minimal off-white head. The aroma is sweet with malts and honey. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy but with a little underlying bitterness. Flavour is initially malts, grains and a trace of berry fruit, but some citrus and honey come through later. Finish is slightly fruity. Cask lager isn’t one of my favourite styles, but this is decent.

Beer Number 5 at the Bradford Beer Festival 2025. Certainly strong transferring as sweet coconut levels of taste here.

Cask at Greyhound, Stafford. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a medium sized foamy tan head. The aroma is mainly coffee with some hints of alcoholic strength. In the mouth it is sweet and very smooth with a creamy texture. Flavour has coffee and malts with some vanilla and a trace of cola . Sweetness lasts into the somewhat watery finish. Bit of a beer of two halves this – I was very keen on it to start with but in the end it was just too sweet for me.

13/4/2024. Cask at the 11th Isle of Man Beer & Cider Festival. Pours clear tawny brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is huge coconut, bounty bar, light vanilla, nut, has a good dollop of coconut body lotion, but also a slight musty off edge. Quite coconut sweet, with some pithy husk bitterness. Moderate body, smooth, soft carbonation. One of the most coconut dominated beers I’ve tried. Couldn’t drink a pint of this.

Cask found at the Fox And Goose in Hebden Bridge. Very dark with a light-brown creamy head. Regular stout character is available but the Irish Whisky influence can be dank and somewhat herbal. The noticeable vanilla helps to offset this.
