Keg at the Fierce Bar, Edinburgh, 24/02/23. Black with a tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, light charr, custard, sugars. Taste comprises vanilla, chocolate pudding, dark malts, mellow roast, light custard tones. Full bodied, light oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent fun impy.

440ml can. Poured almost black in colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, big tonka bean. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, silky, roasty, liqourice, light coffee, chocolate, oily, light warm alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
