Description
Ashton Brewery was established in 2018 in the Wiltshire village of Ashton Keynes. In October 2020 we moved to new premises in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

We pride ourselves in brewing high quality, small batch real ales which are packed with flavour.

Cask at Tamworth Beer Fest. Opaque cola brown. No head. Vaguely berry Aroma. Chocolate and berry with a vague hint of citrus. Long bodied. Sticky slick. Average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. OK..

Gravity cask at the 31st Tamworth Beer Festival, Assembly Rooms Tamworth, day 2 - 05/09/2025.
Light shade of black topped with a khaki cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is chocolate, charr, roast malts, dried fruit rinds.
Taste comprises ashen tones, roasted bite, cocoa powder, toffee.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close.
Okay stout but didn't get any orange.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a small head. Grapefruit, blueberries and some slightly spicy notes in the aroma. Grapefruit, grapes and hints of berries in the taste.

Gravity cask at Tewkesbury Winter Ales Festival 2023. Pours clear chestnut with an off-white cap. Malt, caramel, fruity, light rich, nutty hints. Light to moderate sweet & bitter. Medium body with soft carbonation. Fair

Gravicask, second day at The 14th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival 2022, Marquee Bar A. Shared with Finn. Patchy white head, hazy pale golden body, fair lacing. Pineapple nose, mid-sweet. Moments of orange, pineapple and grapes to the taste buds. Rounded berry-fruity end. Fair enough. (Nottingham 13.10.2022).

Gravicask, second day at The 14th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival 2022, Marquee Bar A. Shared with Finn. Filmy layer, dotted spots on the glass, golden body with a slight haze. Subdued smell of herbal hops added by a citric touch. Citrus flavours, faint malty sweetness beneath. Clean fruity end. Average, more or less. (Nottingham 13.10.2022).

På Robin Hood Beer&Cider Festival 2022. Delt med Rune. Lys gylden. Litt uklar. Luftig skumring. Parfymert eplearoma. Smaken fersken. Vel søt. Så vidt litt bitterhet i avslutninga.
