Description
Founded in 2016 by James Ward, Lough Gill Brewing Company aims to restore the lost tradition of brewing to Sligo town, a small town that once hosted 5 breweries. Can split at Tilt, Bingo-Cotts Convention, picked up from an online peddler whose name escapes me 08/07/23. Black with a good sized tan cap that retains well. Nose is dark malts, chocolate, toffee crisp. Taste comprises toasted brown sugars, cocoa powder, dried fruit rinds, mellow roast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tidy enough straight up stout.

Women’s World Cup beer 2: Ireland - gutted to see the ladies exit their first major tournament so early. As for this beer - that’s a thicc boi, the marshmallow balances the booziness perfectly.
