I have a 14.9 oz can of Loconut ready to be sampled on an unusually cool and blustery day, good time for an imperial stout. Pouring inside of my Buffalo Bayou snifter, the liquid is black-brown with a bare skim of taupe foam. Nice nose, I get chocolate, fruit and bread. The taste, well, I have had a similar brew in the recent past and this is better. The blueberry effect is obvious, baking chocolate, caramel, syrup, biscuit and a bit of coconut. Pastry indeed.
