The picture does not appreciate how nice the can looks. A flavored stout, supposedly salty caramel, cocoa nibs and Oreos. Holy crap. A 5 before I taste it. A 14.9% oz can that displays 10% abv. Cool. Jet black as I pour, the barest skim of tawny tan foam around the rim of my glass. What a scent, coconut, cashews and chocolate. Wow, what a start. And a drink, jeez, all as advertised. I like it when a brewer does that. Dark chocolate, nuts of some kind, salt, yes I get that, toffee and rye bread, malt and cereal. Different than any brew I have tasted. I like different like this.

440ml can. Quasi black colour with huge, frothy, moderately to mostly lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Roasty, chocolately dark malty, minimally biscuity aroma, notes of treacle, dark caramel and chocolate, toasted oat flakes, macaroons, minimally leafy, waxy, rubber-like overtones. Taste is roasty, dark malty, sweet-ish slightly caramel malty, notes of treacle, dark caramel, a touch of toasted oat flakes, macaroons, some watery passages; leafy-waxy finish with a rubber touch. Watery texture with minimally oily partition, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, soft and foamy carbonation. Some off-flavours around - OK.
