Keg at the Pembury - Hackney. Pours clear yellow-gold with a small, foamy white head. Certain floral aroma, some pine needles, grass, lemon zest, wheat. Light sweet flavour with some wheat and biscuits, lemon peel, honeysuckle, pear. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with pleasant floral notes, sourdough bread, lemon peel. Fun stuff.

44cl can, de Drink Store, Dublin. BB 10/2018, lot# 1753/54. Brune, épais effervescent blanc-cassé retombant très vite. Arôme offre un bouquet grillé finement café. En rétro, léger effet rappelant le bacon avec une petite pointe de fumé - chocolaté et un effet de fruit noir. Palais est léger oscillant entre malt dominant et un léger fini houblonné citronné. L'effervescence relève l'impression d'amertume, le tout sur un côté légèrement collant sur les lèvres. Malté sur des notes de chocolat. Amertume perdure sur la fin et apporte son effet herbacé et citronné.

44cl can, from Fresh market Smithfield, Dublin, BB 01/2019? BATCH# l1741/49. Cuivrée, col blanc-cassé avec un léger doré au verre. Arôme offre de belles effluves de frutié noir rappelant les dates et pruneaux. Malté pâle, caramel et une petite pointe de douceur arrive en retrait. Palais de grains, un peu pâle, rappel un léger biscuité, fruité noir perdurant avec des notes de dates, pruneaux et de raisins secs, dark cristal sugar voire sucre brun. Amertume fine arrivant en fin de bouche avec un apport légèrement herbacé et citronné sans pour cela être trop dominant comme suggéré dans le nom.

44cl can from Drink Store, Dublin. At Niamey's craft beer tasting. BB 09/2018. Brune, léger cuivre, col blanc-cassé. Arôme offre un effet malté grillé avec un agréable ajout d'effluves de noix grillées, malt cara - léger aspect de café, et un rétro houblonné finement fruité. Palais est maté sur un bel effet grillé, avec un excellent côté café. Malt pâle, caramel, pointe rappelant le chocolaté. Houblonné est modéré et apporte la balance d'amertume citronnée et herbacée. Le café revient sur la fin.

Can. Hazy amber pour with a creamy light beige head. Aroma of tart fruit, vinous. Taste follows nose with some oak and toasted malt. Not bad.

Can from McHughs. Brownish black with a full head. Aroma of spicy malt. Flavour is cherry spice, chocolate malt, bitter, fruity chocolate finish.
