Gravity cask at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Deep brownish gold, clear and almost flat. Juicy peach aroma with a smidgen of pine and some mango/papaya notes. After a more balanced start, it tastes surprisingly bitter, turning uncompromisingly so in the dry finish. Apple skins, tannins and underripe apricot aftertaste. Oily body. Impressive little beast.
