Klar brun med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter korn, våt pels og lett karamell. Lett. Søt maltig smak, lett bitter brent karamell, korn, blomster og noe honning. Noe oljete.

Medium white head doesn’t last. Hazy yellow still body. Strawy grassy resiny aroma with floral gooseberry jam notes. Dryish earthy peas taste with wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry wooden dusty straw aftertaste with earthy funky notes. It’s not too terrible. (0.5l bottle, from Gulating Strømmen.)

KRS 060816. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is yeast, spices, fruit. Flavor is yeast, spices, fruit, vanilla, apple, floral. Weird beer and lively carbonated.

Svært mørk brun med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter nøtter og kakaopulver. Middels minus i fylde. Søtlig smak. Kakao, mørk sjokolade, fløte og noe trevirke. Kort noe salt avslutning.

Svart med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter fløte, kakaopulver, vanilje og mørk sjokolade. Middels fylde. Noe salt lakris i smak og kakao i smak. Lett bitterhet , middels lang.

Medium beige head. Clear deep dark red, barely translucent, body. Earthy coffee and vanilla aroma with red berry notes. Sweetish roasty earthy taste with red berry notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish earthy mealy roasty aftertaste with wooden vanilla and lingonberry notes. Very nice, vivid and clear flavours, highly drinkable. Bottle, courtesy of Horten’s grand old man Cunningham. A slow gusher producing a big, diminishing white head over a lightly hazy golden body. Rather grainy nose, fruity too, with some coriander notes. It’s rather effervescent, semi-dry and medium bodied. Fruity flavor with yellow apples, Some pale malts and a cellar hint. Long fruity, grainy finish with some bitterness. Not very interesting this one, and not very good either. 160806

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, apple, yeast and hint of orange. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long apple, yeasty, orange and hint of grain. Taste is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is fizzy
