Our roots are deeply embedded in the hilly fields and farms of northeast Donegal. This is the perfect environment for the way we make beer. We don’t filter or pasteurise, and we let our industrious little friends, the yeast, carbonate the beer naturally during fermentation.
With the opening of K2, our new state-of-the-art facility in nearby Letterkenny in March 2017, the clinking of bottles coming off our line no longer mingles with the bleating of sheep from the surrounding fields. The farmhouse ethos at the core of what we do however remains the same.

0.44l can. Hazy orange body with a foamy white head. Sticky caramel notes in the aroma with some grapefruit, peach and grapes. Taste is similar with notes of grape seed. Nice balance between the malts and hops. The finish is leaning towards the bitter side. Nice beer.

Not bad and I could say that it is a season beer, on the Belgian way, on the same way than a duvel, huge carbonation, be careful opening the can, dry, mineral, side of champagne, sparkling in the mouth, hop, refreshing, 24.04.2020, at Epalinges, perfect with a Spanish paella.

0.44 l can from 'Craftbeershop.com', canned in February 2025. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately fruity-floral aroma of lemon peel, some fresh grass and light grains. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently fruity-floral and a bit grassy taste of grains, lemon peel and some fresh grass, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent beer, resembles a Pils rather than a Kölsch imho.
