Description

Sampled from draught @ Oirschots Bierfestival 2016. Hazy dark orange to reddish color, yeast residu floating in there, average to medium sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, diacetyl, buttery. Completely off, totally ridiculous as an Imperial IPA.

Sampled @ Nederlands Speciaalbier Festival, Den Bosch 2016. Bit hazy orange to amber color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, very fruity and sweet, candy, sweet strawberry and sweet fruit. Nice one. Decent body and carbonation. --Note to admins: not completely sure about the style, as it does not at all taste like any amber lager / vienna I’ve ever tried before.--

33cl bottle. Dark orange pour, hazy with a beige head. Malt sugars, grapefruit, pine resin, dankness. A bit too sweet, like a blend of an ipa and a briwn ale. Surprisingly good.

Bottle from het Biermoment, BB 11/2020, large sample. Dark color, short frothy head. Aroma is spicy, caramel, roast, clove, cola. Roasty bitterness, toffee, cola, leaves. Quite good and well balanced winterbier. Im pretty impressed by the quality of some of the brews of this brewery, as the two merged ones didnt really show much quality before. Good.
