(Bottle 50 cl) Pours an unclean pale golden with a fizzy, dissipating white head. Aroma of citrus and yeast. Medium-bodied with sourish citrus notes. Some sulphur in the finish. Not unpleasant as such but about as far from a Pilsener as you can possibly get - this is more of a Belgian Wit. I wonder if a simple infection could turn a Pils into a Wit? 290806

A hazy light orange beer with a fast disappearing bubbly white head. The aroma is acidic with primary notes of youghurt, but also light notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet and again acidic and with notes of youghurt, but also some citrusy notes from the hops. The end is slightly bitter. Hmmmmm - not a Pilsener.

Served from tap. Great dark brown colour, taste of hops is there, but surely dominated by the malt (3 sorts of malt and 2 sorts of hops). Not really that bitter as i would have expected from an ESB.

Bottled. Golden, well-carbonated beer with a nice off-white head. Hay, malt, caramel-sweetness, cellar and barnyard in the aroma. The flavor starts hayish, with some caramel sweetness. Quite one-dimentional. Medium body with a fizzy mouthfeel. Lightly hopped finish. Better than their Pilsner. (060810)

Bottled. A bit unclear, yellow-golden, with a small white head. Barnyard, yeast, acidity and dry grass in the aroma, but not in an unpleasant way. The flavor is grain, hops and some light fruityness. Dry, medium body and a lightly bitter finish. Seems like there is a small infection going on here. Rating: 5-2-5-3-11-2.6. (060810)
Bottle. I wasn’t very impressed at my first go, so I thought I’d give it a second chance. It won’t get a third... It looks decent, with a golden body and a small, white head. That’s probably the best of it. It’s milky-sour on the nose, with stale hops in the back. It has a medium body, with flavors of stale hops, some bitterness and a touch of sourness in the infected way. The finish is short, with just a pinch of bitterness and malts. And sourness. It’s drinkable in a way, and not completely off, but they sure needs to do something on the hygiene. (081215)
