Description
Our real ales are hand crafted with the local palate in mind, and to exacting standards. We take great pride in the production of our products which are brewed traditionally, with no concentrates, colourings or extract and with accent on the taste of yesteryear. When was the last time you savoured the aroma of a mass produced beer, or tasted its wholesome natural flavour?

Opened in 1995. Moved in 2000 from Gillfoot Brewery, Southerness, Kirkbean.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear pilsener golden with a creamy, white head leaving some laces. Light, fruity nose. Soft and malty with fruity notes and a hint of alcohol. Slightly thin, watery finish. Unusual lager. 301005

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy pilsener golden with a small, crude head. Lightly tart nose. Very fresh, light body. No real notes of wheat. Unusual but not bad. 301005

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, black with a reddish hue and a creamy, light brown head. Roasted malt aroma. Very light-bodied with flavours of hard roasted malt with a weak caramelish sweetness. A vague touch of burned malt. Very light and quaffable porter. 291005

Very dark brown. Coffee aroma. very roasty, medium bodied. Salty bitter finish with notes of licorice.
