From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is toffee and caramelish. Bitter, liqourice and roasted malty. Toffee, vanilla, chocolate and bitter. Roasted malty.

Draught. Weak caramelly aroma. Hazy red amber colour. Small off-white head. The flavour has a little raw vegetable, cabbage, but not sulphuric. Watery. Rough bitterness in the finish.

Draught. Sweet milky aroma, or is it coffee sweetener. Black colour. Small brown head. Smokey and very sweet flavour. Good mouthfeel. A little alcohol in the finish.

Draught. Mild hoppy aroma. Very dark brown colour. Small head. The flavour is sweet and hoppy. A bit sugary, and with some wet hop notes. Roasted finish. OK balanced but not quite my style.
