A golden blonde ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice citrusy ale with herbal floral hops, catnip, nice and complex. In mouth, a nice crisp malt with nice pungent herbal hops, catnip notes, very nice. On tap at brewpub, Dec. 8 2012.

Growler at THE stout tasting - part 1. Thanks jackl! It pours opaque dark brown with a small tan head. The nose is wood, vanilla, sweet caramel, light roasted malt, toast, fudge, toasted coconut, plum, prune and sherry-like notes. The taste is rich-roasted malt, ash, alcohol warmth, salted caramel, lots of dark fruit, rum, raisin, plum, date and toffee with a warming, bitter-sweet finish. Full body, fine carbonation and slick mouth-feel. Good depth of flavour, smooth and very well-balanced. Took me a bit by surprise....delicious!!

Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, vanilla. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. Draft at the source. Clear dark maroon color, small but thick beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate and light spice. Taste is lightly spiced coffee and cocoa. Very nice.
