On tap at Peg’s pouring very dark with tall firm mocha head. The aroma is pretty full with burnt malts, roasty malts, earthiness and a dash of chocolate. The taste has an initial earthy to slightly estery fruitiness with some dark fruit and then quickly loading up with burnt malts, dark malt roastiness and then chocolate that seems to grow into the finish. Nice robust Porter that I really dig, the wife did too.

on tap-pours a thin off white head and musky brown/orange color. Aroma is medium malt, then pumpkin. Taist is grainy/medium malt-earthy caramel, then pumpkin/nutmeg. Better warmer and becomes perfumy too.

Courtesy of Blazer06. Pours dark mahogany with thin tan head. The aroma is bold smooth sweet bourbon and vanilla along with some spicy oak, and booziness at the end of the draw. Nice rich sweet bourbony nose but not much beeriness offered up. The taste is smooth rich vanilla and bourbon. The booze grows brasher to midway where faint to modest notes of dark roasted malts, chocolate and sweet nuttiness are notice underneath the crushing bourbony sweet onslaught. Smooth tasty brew.

Poured up on tap at Peg’s Pizza Cantina a orange – brown color with some haze and firm off white head. Great nose with solid citrus candy goodness upon the first draw. Later I get notes of malt sweetness and some resiny pine like hop bitterness. The taste is full bold up front hoppy goodness. It runs from pine flavor to resiny bitterness, a bit of grapefruit and then to spice hops. There’s a mild malt backbone deep in the rear of the flavor. Very nice IPA. One of the best I’ve had brewed in FL.
