[ As Fifth Hammer / Rockaway / Strong Rope Face Block ].
ABV: 12.5%. Murky medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, molasses, dried fruit, figs - dates, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, dried fruit, figs - dates, sweet malt, caramel, alcohol, barley wine alike, rich, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20200121]

On tap at the brewery. Pours black. Chocolate, vanilla, rum, spiced rum, sweet creaminess, boozy rum chocolate. Thick soft body. Very good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours deep red brown. Dry toast, touch of coffee, pepper, little red fruit. Medium body. Nice. As noted by mansquito, very rye forward, but not unpleasant for it.
