Poured into a mug, the appearance was a rugged semi-dark brown color with a nice finger’s worth of white to off white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Stringy lace.
The aroma centers around roasty nuts, sweet toffee malts and a light breadiness. Some dry roastiness to earthy bitter to spicy hoppiness rounds it all out.
The flavor is a balance of roast to sweet to earthiness. Breadiness seems to slide further into the background. Roasty to earthy aftertaste. Slim dry sweet finish.
On the palate, this one has a light to medium body with a decent sessionability about it. Mild carbonation.
Overall, nice English styled brown ale that I would have again.

22 oz. from Bert’s Better Beers. Color is a cloudy straw, slow fading white head. The aroma shows me light yeast (fruity notes) straw, with mild spice.
Flavor shows a nice yeast character again, fruit (pear, stone fruit, Apple skins). The body is light with a yeasty lingering aftertaste. Low bitterness with a slightly herbal finish. Carbonation is slightly high with a juicy texture. Pretty respectable.

Can pour into tulip glass from Spruce Creek Provisions. Appearance is hazy golden brown with fair sparkle, finger-width white fizzy head with poor retention, minimal lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit, grapefruit, pine, resin over light malty base. Taste is as aroma. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, average carbonation and malty finish with mild bitterness. Overall, strong hop flavors so it could pass for an IPA but has enough of a malt presence to keep it in the APA family. Nice.

650 ml bottle purchased at Prost at the end of 2015. (The only vintage of this date) brown reddish color. Candy sugar and plums upfront. With yeast and raisin’s.
The yeast has good character and moderate alcohol warmth after the sip. I taste fig, plums and lots of sugar. The body is almost full with a lightly boozy warmth after the swallow without any harsh alcohol flavors. I know this style displays sweet sugary notes, but for my palate right now it is borderline cloying. For the style it is nicely crafted.

pale orange, very light looking beer. smells like chamomile and vinegar. Very juicy up front then turns south to a lemon juice concentrate vinegar which actually doe fade to some light wheat maltiness wit a good floral finish.

Lactic and floral in the nose, with a touch of soap and light cider. Grainy, I guess, but not much else to be found malt-wise. No alcohol and some peachiness, I guess, as well....
Peachy, with a good grainy base and moderate lactic character. Some floral notes running through it as well, with a sweet-and-sour character. Pretty simple kettle soured beer, but a lot better in the mouth than I was expecting from the nose. Actual malt to balance and some juicy, floral and lightly tropical hop notes. No alcohol and clean. Pretty good attenuation. Easy drinking. Little bit loose on the carbonation, but seems fine for the style.

Poured from bottle thanks Airforcehops dark amber orange with a nice what head. Aromas of sour fruit tart floral. Taste is tart juice lactic sourness.

Bottle purchased at Greg & Janes Beer and Wine. Nearly clear golden color. Aroma is lactic acid and dried flowers, of course it is floral. Yeah, the flavor has a very large lactic acid character. No real pucker, but lactic sourness to boot! Damn,

12 oz. can from Greg & Jane’s Beer and Wine. Aroma is decent citrus hops with a large amount of malty white bread. The aroma had a higher level of hops than the flavor. A tad to much malt for me. (But I am used to drinking insanely overly hopped beers). This brew does have pretty good balanced all things considered. This brew in cans would be great for having at the beach. No issues and pretty easy drinking.

Bottle shared by someone tonight, thanks. Slightly hazy dark golden color. Fruity tart with a solid puckering involved. Light grassy fruity hops are barely evident over the lactic tartness. Not bad.
