22 oz. bottle. Thin tan ring of head around the snifter. Nose is a nice solid amount of roasted espresso bean over chocolate malt. The flavor is really is a delight. Long roasted espresso with a charr and ashy texture. Lingering roast that last for a nice duration after the sip. The body is medium with a correct level of carbonation. Real enjoyable coffee stout.

A - Looks like a really light stout...sort of blackish brown.
S - Nose is super roasty, lots of dry pecan and walnut notes.
T - Very roast, minor banana Esther up front with nuttiness peat, charcoal and cedar.
M - Thin mouthfeel and lacks any creaminess.
O - For a 6.8% coffee stout, this is pretty darn good.

22oz bottle-tight retaining white head with trailing lace-cloudy yellow/gold. A-citrus-lemon zest/spice, some wheat/lt malt. T-lemon juice with the acidity first, then a slight tangy (almost some aspirin) hop bite that doesn’t last, lt malt/wheat-bready. Interesting and close.

Bottle from Bert’s Pour an opaque black color with a smallish rich creamy tan head that shows moderate retention. Aromas of coffee roasted grain and burnt sugars with hints of milk chocolate and light pitted fruit. The aroma is wonderful. The flavor is a rich chocolatey coffee malt affair with a hint of smoke and caramelized and burnt sugars. Light vanilla and a sweet lactose flavor with bits of licorice and molasses. Medium to thick body with a creamy velvety smooth mouthfeel and a light to moderate level of carbonation. This is a really nice porter! Complex, flavorful, light enough to drink a few pints.

Can from I'm not sure where. Dark brown with a frothy off white head that slowly dissipates. Roasty bitter chocolate with hints of licorice and earth. Might be a hint too much roast for a porter but I dig it.

Paid $7.39 for a 22 oz. bottle at Top Shelf Brews Hampton, NH. Poured dark hazy brown color with an average white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Light toasted malt and pine needle aroma. Flavor is medium to sweet toffee with a light Earthy hop bitterness of low duration. My expectations may have been a bit high on this one. I find myself drinking a lot of amber ales recently. Honestly I don’t know why.?..? They tend to be real average, like this brew. Not bad in anyway just boring.

22 oz. fresh bottle from Top Shelf Brews. Paid $7.39. Highly carbonated hazy gold color. Huge lasting head. Nose is citrus hops with a herbal note. Flavor is citrus, grapefruit pith and a strong malted wheat backbone. Medium body with a dry texture. Lots of lemon and grapefruit pith in the finish. This will not get you totally excited but it’s well made and I enjoyed it.

Bottle from Bert’s Pours a hazy medium straw color with a good sized fluffy white head that persists forever. Some really nice citrus and pine aromas emanating from within my glass is a nice treat when I was thinking yeast and spice was coming forth. There is some yeast and spice in the aroma and it meshes really well with the hops. The flavor is light bread and spice with a bit of yeastiness and lots of pine and resinous hop flavors to provide a bit of balance. Light to medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet spicy almost resinous mouthfeel. Interesting wheat beer to be sure. I really like the jolt of hops that put a distinctly American spin on this. I would have liked a bit more of the crackery spicy wheat berry to come out here though.

Bottle thanks to Beerandblues2l poured a hazy copper color with a touch of white head. Aroma is slight malt notes with a touch of earthy/citrus hops. Light hop, earthy notes.

Bottle courtesy of BeerandBlues2, thank you! Cloudy golden yellow color, small white edge head. Aroma of peppery citrus and other fruit. Taste is fruity straw, hay, grass. Nice stuff.
