Description
Anchor is America’s first and oldest craft brewery, with roots dating back to the California gold rush. Today, our beers are handmade from an all-malt mash in our traditional copper brewhouse. Our process combines the time-honored art of classical craft brewing with carefully applied, state-of-the-art modern methods.

Large foamy white head stayed on an unclear pale gold body. Lemon & malt aroma. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated with a sharp back. Lemon, stone fruit, grapefruit & malt tastes. Nicely balanced.

On tap at Anchor Public tap. Number one with a bullet. Cloudy tannish yellow pour. Brief beige head. Big tropical citrus aroma. Flavor is hoppy with notes of pineapple, passion fruit and mango. Lots of resiny pine on backend.

From the variety pack. First time I have seen it and it's at a store that I don't frequent that often. All were packaged in April.

Pours a lightly hazed straw gold with an impressive head of foam and lacing.

Smells of mango, pineapple and oranges.

Taste is mango, pineapple, oranges, toasted malt and Anchor yeast. Very tasty.

Great juicy mouthfeel.

For being a bit over 4 months old, this is quite impressive.

Foamy off white head left a creamy cover on a hazy amber body. Stone fruit, confectionery & hoppy aroma. Medium bodied, sharp with a softer clean back. Malt, pine, stone fruit & mango tastes with a long bitter hopped up finish. Decent.

Feels a little aged and oxidized. Otherwise it’s like a light barleywine that you’d find nowadays, but defines the style in terms of the fig flavour. Beer temple ams
