Bottle share for Colin’s 40th. Murky yellow with a firm white heat . aroma is chive hop veg matter with a lasting white head. Flavour is chive lemon. And grassy, wheaty berry, palate I’d semi sweet highish carbonation. Light bit if funk. Tasty beer.

Bottle thanks to someone. It pours cloudy gold with a small white head. The nose is earthy, straw, lemon, lemon meringue pie and candy. The taste is crisp, funky, creamy, hay, earth, spice, lemon, pepper, sherbet, spice and lemonade with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Solid saison.

Two 330ml bottles at Blå Rock Café in Tromsø, one bottle as a fine partner to a spicy Dead Kennedys burger. Solid off-white head leaving crocheted lacing behind. Next to clear amber coloured body. Aromas of mid-dry citrus shells and bread-like malts. Grass, pine, orange, and crystal malts to the flavour character. Mid-dry fruit bitterness to a prolonged finish. Hidden alcohol. Well bodied. A refreshing and pleasant ipa (19.09.2014).

Bottle at home. Has an unclear and deep orange color, with a beige foam head. The beer is aromatic with fruity hops. Aroma of resin, hop pellets, peach and floral tones. In the background theres some rye, and additional hints cooked cabbage and diacetyl. The taste is more sweet than expected, but still has some fruity tones, especially orange. In addition theres some sweet malt and caramel, with an dry ending of grass. Mouth feel is full bodied and smooth, and the bitterness is kept at a moderate level and lingers long in the mouth. This is an IPA way I like it; fruity hops balanced by a solid malt character.

330ml bottle at Blå Rock Café. Steady, fluffy white head to a hazy pale golden body. Spotty lacing down the glass. Fresh aromas of mild spiced fruits with wheat. Mid-sweet fruity taste of pineapples, peach and yeasty fruitiness followed by a rich fruity bitterness towards the ending. Soft on the swallow. Medium bodied. Refreshing with fine drinkability. Hoppy saison, indeed (Tromsø 20.08.2014).

Bottle at Bryggerikaia, Bod. Has a very hazy orange colour with a medium off-white head. The aroma is dominated by citrus, sweet cake, sweet malt, hay, spices and some flower-like tones as fresh soap. The taste is both sweet and fruity at first, but eventually goes into freshly cut grass, grassy hops and pepper. Mouth feel is rich, and the bitterness is balanced on a comfortable medium level. A really fruity beer with sweet notes, well hopped and with spices lurking in the background.

Flaske 330ml på Blå Rock i Tromsø. Lys gulgrønn. Uklar. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Kremkonsistens i midten. Pen, litt tynn kniplingslacing. Svakt syrlig aroma av frukt og krydder. Smaken sammensatt av foskjellig syrlig frukt. Forsiktig tørr i avslutninga. Veldig uklar siste kvelling - og mye sedimenter igjen på flaska. Frisk & god!

Bottle. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a dense, light beige head forming some lacings. The aroma is weak, with citrus notes and a touch of yeast. Not much malts. The flavor is weak too, feeling a bit dull, with citrus peel and bitterness. Medium body, soft and pleasantly carbonated. A decent beer, at max, nothing more. Can’t say I’m temted to have another one. 140530

Bottle. It’s a hazy pale golden beer, topped by a small, white head leaving some lacings. Coriander, oranges and some wheat in the aroma. Pretty straight forward and simple, but flawless. The same goes for the lasting flavor, with pale malts in the back and citrus and coriander up front. A bit thin on the palate perhaps, with a nice and appropriate carbonation level. A quite decent one, easy drinkable and quite refreshing. 140530
