Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, reddish black with a creamy, beige head. Sweet, roasty nose - a little chocolate if you insist. Rich, sweet roast, a little sweet chocolate with a hint of ashes. Nothing spectacular, but a solid and clean drinker. 250219

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a lively, white head with good retention. Fruity, almost perfumy nose combined with a distinct yeastiness. Medium body, fruity sweet - and yeasty - before a solid late bitterness sets in. Sort of a hoppy Belgian Pale Ale. 250219

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a fizzy, dissipating white head. Yeasty nose, subtle banana aromas. Medium body, sweet fruit notes, again yeasty. Looks kinda grubby, but in flavor it's not a bad stab at the style. 25.0219

Draught at Aarhus Streetfood. Black colour, seems hazy. Small stable light brown head. Roasted and papery flavour. Low bitterness for the style. Mild and pleasant.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a dense, light brown head. Odd rubbery nose, more licorice than roast. Rich body, again loads of licorice and phenols. Has that feel you find in Belgian Stouts - fermented at very high temperatures? Not a fan. 070219

Bottle 50 cl. Pours deep golden with a slight haze and a white head. Vague caramel in the nose. Medium body, sweet caramel, massively oxidized and I belive there's some diacetyl as well. Very subdued bitterness. Really over and done with in spite of a BB 030719 310119

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, dark brown with an orange hue and a small, off-white head. Some nuts in the nose and a hint of roastiness. Rich, sweet, malty body. Quite fizzy, again nutty, some burned caramel, but also this hint of roast, that doesn't really belong in a Bock. Ends kinda dry with little hops. 280119

4.8
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 4 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 5

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear, dark golden with a white head. Again this very perfumy nose, wtf is that?? And underneath is butter and tea accents - this is very strange. Medium body, sweet fruitiness, bergamot and a very subdued bitterness. It's kind of a stone-age interpretation of an IPA. In all friendliness I'll recommend Skanderborg to start finding a personality and some more interesting recipes. Right now they're competing in the same mainstream market as 150 other Danish micros - and fake micros. 131218
