Description
QajaQ brewery is located in Narsaq close to Greenlands Icecap, where we harvest carefully our icebergs drifting outside the brewery. Probably the purest water mother nature can provide us with 1000-4000 years old icebergs (water). We carefully choose our malt, hops and local ingredients for our beers. We´re “mainly” a lager brewery but also enjoy a good ale every once in a while.
We´re a Greenlandic/Icelandic owned brewery with an American as head brewer and German as assistant brewer. Our main goal is to provide Greenland and the world with quality (locally) brewed beer and build up the knowledge in the country so they can learn how they can use their wonderful pure water.

Bottle, my first one from Greenland. (thanks Fredrik) Clear amber with a fairly thick head. Sweet with caramel, malt, bread and hints of nuts. The body was medium and the bitterness quite light. An ok one.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a very bubbly golden with just a tiny white film of a head. Nose has a little malt and sulphur. Medium body, carbonation to the low side, dry maltiness, again somewhat sulphury with a dry, hoppy finish. A fairly decent interpretation of the style. 290120
