Description
QajaQ brewery is located in Narsaq close to Greenlands Icecap, where we harvest carefully our icebergs drifting outside the brewery. Probably the purest water mother nature can provide us with 1000-4000 years old icebergs (water). We carefully choose our malt, hops and local ingredients for our beers. We´re “mainly” a lager brewery but also enjoy a good ale every once in a while.
We´re a Greenlandic/Icelandic owned brewery with an American as head brewer and German as assistant brewer. Our main goal is to provide Greenland and the world with quality (locally) brewed beer and build up the knowledge in the country so they can learn how they can use their wonderful pure water.

Bottle. It pours a hazy golden colored body under a nice looking white head. Lacing. The aroma has a generic fruityness and some pale malts. Grass and pine cones. It's medium bodied and nicely carbonated, semi dry, with mostly fruity flavors. Long finish. Sure refreshing. 240622

Keg at Inuit Cafe, Ilulisat. An easy going sweetish lager that goes more like a helles but still pretty decent.
