We started brewing some 3 years ago on a plucky ½ barrel kit in Epping in Essex, where we developed our Craft Lager and Magic Spells IPA. Originally brewing for friend’s parties, mate’s bands and of course ourselves, we learned the ropes working with an array of different people. We still have the ½ barrel kit set up at our new site in East London for experimenting but the core beers are now brewed on a 10 barrel kit, whilst we upscale to meet demand.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up in Shoreditch. Pours mostly clear honey-gold with a big, billowing frothy white head. Smells like it has picked up some brett - it smells nice, but this is definitely unintentional. Light sweet flavour with some rindy citrus fruits, dry pale malts, melon, brett funk, lemon peel, pithy grapefruit, hay bales. Light bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Restrained funk on the finish, more citric notes, a bit of poo, pine needles, flinty minerality. Honestly, it's pretty interesting. Also this must be miles away from the intended target.

Bottle split at CBC Islington, thanks to Leighton, 17/10/18. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is grassy, orange pith, lemon rind, toasted bread, melon. Taste comprises grass, floral notes, tangerine, melon, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with moderate hop bitterness. Low end for the style but probs one of their better offerings!

Craft Islington. Bottleshare. Thanks to LKS. Hazy gold beer, good cream colour head. Airy palate, fairly dry, modest fine carbonation. Slightly grainy malts, not too bad, reasonably sweet. Floral hop. Mild citrus. Light finish. Okay. Standard stuff.
