Bottled at Katarina Ölkafé, Stockholm. Cloudy golden, small head. Floral marzipan aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with dough, hay and marzipan. Fairly low bitterness. Laid back and pleasant.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy deep golden, mid sized head. Earth cellar and butterscotch up front. Mid dry with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Butterscotch and notes of hay. Mid bitter finish. Somewhere between a Czech pilsner and a Soviet style Zhiguleskoe.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 7 Oct 2016) Hazy amber colour with brief, frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with apricots, citrus and toast. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, citrus and a balanced earthy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, but doesn’t really stand out. Quite enjoyable. (6/4/6/3/12=3.1) Rerate: (Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 22 Jan 2020) Pale amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with grain, toffee, citrus and apricots. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, orange peel, bread, grain, toast and a mild bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 1 Oct 2016) Dark reddish brown colour with foamy, beige head. Fruity, sourish nose with caramel, sour cherries, red fruit and a touch of balsamic vinegar. Malty, tart taste with notes of sour cherries, raspberries, caramel and a refreshing tartness in the finish. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty, with a fresh cherry sourness. Nice one.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 1 Oct 2016) Dark brown colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, spicy nose with notes of dark bread, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Malty, spicy taste with dark bread, chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg and a gentle spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Spicy and well balanced Christmas ale. Quite nice.

Cask (Oliver Twist, Stockholm) - Black with a tan head. Blackcurrant, roasted malt and a hint of liquorice in the aroma. Blackcurrant is also evident in the taste along with cold coffee and chocolate.
