Bottle split at Chris & Ruth’s pre GBBF Shindig, 07/08/16. Pale golden blonde with a moderate off white covering. Nose is pale malts, straw, grains, lemon drizzle. Taste comprises pale malts, bread, grassy bite, toasted grains, lemon rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Par for style.

The great ChrisO pre GBBF gathering. Light haze on this gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, mild grain. Floral mid. Very mild citrus before a light finish. It’s an okay lager with no obvious off notes.

330 ml bottle. Unclear reddish amber body with a moderate sized tan head. Quite intense aroma of cooked vegetables and a hint of caramel malt. Flavor is sweet caramel malt with lots of cooked vegetables and low bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste in the same direction. Probably something wrong with this bottle, re-rate if possible.
