Draught @ 3 Små Rum. Pours very hazy orangish yellow with a big frothy and rocky offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some sticky lacing on the glass. Smell is fruity and grassy with white bread, wholegrain crackers, grapefruit juice, mango, freshly cut grass, pine needles, chives, grape skins and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, heavy bitter, slightly fruity and heavy grassy. Mouthfeel is soft, slightly round, tiny dry, astringent, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with wholegrain crackers, grapefruit juice, mango, freshly cut grass, pine needles, chives, oversteeped tea, grape skins, orange peal and lemon zest. Very bitter and "hop tea"-esque. You adapt as your mouth gets used to the bitterness and astringency but this is fairly hard to drink. Not my kind of DIPA.

Draught @ 3 Små Rum. Pours tiny hazy goldenish amber with a big frothy and creamy offwhite head that leaves lots of spotty sticky trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty, herbal and earthy with sweet dark bread, caramel, grapefruit juice, moist grass, moist soil, minerals, orange peal and lemon peal. Taste is sweet, bitter, slightly malty, slightly herbal and slightly earthy. Mouthfeel is soft, round, astringent and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and bitter with sweet dark bread, caramel, grapefruit juice, moist grass, moist soil, lemon balm, orange peal and lemon peal. Possibly no the seasonable beer they went for with prominent sweetness and heavy bitterness but I quite like this. Has character and sting!

Draught @ 3 Små Rum. Pours hazy tiny burnt golden with a big creamy white head that slowly dissipating while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is fruity, grassy and buttery with buttered crackers, buttered freshly baked white bread, grapefruit juice, mango, heavy pineapple, freshly cut grass, pine needles and lemon zest. Taste is slightly sweet, tiny bitter, fruity, tiny grassy and slightly buttery. Mouthfeel is soft, slightly flat, round, tiny astringent, tiny watery and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and tiny bitter with buttered freshly baked white bread, grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple. Freshly cut grass, pine needles and lemon zest. Another buttery offering I’m afraid but not as bad as the 3 Hops IPA #2. Feels very fresh and alive which is to be expected with the tap basically being connected to the fermentation tank. Solid offering regarding malts and hops. Loose the butter and we’re good. --- Beer merged from original tick of APA Amarillo on 22 Jul 2015 at 18:55 - Score: 6. Original review text: Buttery I'm afraid...

Appearance: Unclear golden color with a thick white head. Nice lacing.
Aroma: Citric hoppy, biscuits/bready and fruity.
Palate: Medium (+) body. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Soft carbonation. Creamy texture.
Taste: Citric hoppy, bready, quite rich malty, herbal/grassy and tropical fruity.
Overall impression: Unusual and dangerously easy drinkable beer.

Draught @ 3 Små Rum during RBScSG. Pours very hazy burnt yellow with a big frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is heavy fruity with buttered crackers, grapefruit, canned tropical fruits in sugar syrup, freshly cut grass, pine needles and lemon zest. Taste is sweet, bitter, fruity, grassy and heavy buttery. Mouthfeel is soft, round, slightly astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with buttered crackers, grapefruit juice, canned tropical fruits, freshly cut grass, pine needles and lemon zest. Very buttery which is a pity since everything else about this is pretty much spot on!
