Creamy off white head left a spotty cover on a chestnut coloured still body. Spiced dried fruit & malt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & nicely carbonated on the back. Raisin, malt, bready & toffee tastes with a tangy pine finish. That's a really good ESB.

330ml bottle from Beerwulf. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is nutty, toffee caramel, fudge. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a crisp, earthy, mineral, nutty, light sweet toffee, woody hop bitter palate.Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Vagabund Call it a Day, Fläschchen aus dem Kalea Craft Beer Advent Calender 2021. - Kastanienrotbraun, trüb. - In der Nase etwas grelle Fruchtigkeit, Mandarine, toastiges Malz, feine englische Hopfung, leicht säuerlich. - Antrunk schlank toastmalzig und grell fruchtig: Pfirsich, Bittermandel, Seifenlauge. Spritzig rezent. Im Abgang leichte säuerliche Züge, Anklänge an Bitterschokolade und schroffe Bittere. - Hier muß etwas schiefgelaufen sein: zu säuerlich, unrund und hart ist dieses Exemplar.
