Tap at the Raven City Pub for Fil's 50th b-day party (thus the pun). And what a party it was... Fil deserves all those great people around him more often! Anyway, the beer - its pun being dead obvious. Hazy brown body, off-white head. Woody, malty aroma, dryish. Woody, toasty maltiness dominates the smooth, bit yeasty and creamy body with a good bitter finish. Maybe a bit young, if it settles well it might be even better, but it's a fun take!

Tap at Brūstok 2026 with the Prague tasting crew. Hazy golden body, thick white head. That's where normalcy stops. The sauerkraut kicks off the aroma, bit subdued and lightly salty at firms, enormous as it warms. Sauerkraut and salt, fresh I guess, dominate the taste. Which is cabbagey and salty, and sour. It is exactly what it is. A good question is why?! But hell, I've loved crazier stuff than this. 5/5 if rated "to style". Thankfully it's not a style.

Tap at Brūstok 2026, this time without Gurthnar, it seems. hazy yellow-golden body, thick small off-white head. Coconut, lime and a bit of oatiness in the aroma. Lean, dry lime-driven taste, lime primarily, light coconut, smooth maltiness, not much bitterness. Good one by all means.

Tap at Brūstok 2026, with Gurthnar of course! Dull golden body, off-white head. Onion, coconut and wood in the aroma, weirdly. Lean, dryish citric, herbal, oniony soft taste. Okay, if a bit too oniony in my book.

Tap at Raven City Pub. Lightly hazy golden body, off-white head. Sharp Riwaka NZ herbal notes and some orange peel underneath in the hoppy aroma. Lean dry bitter NZ herbal taste, green citrusy notes, clean grainy maltiness, bitterish herbal finish. This is good stuff!

Tap at the City Pub. Big lemon ice tea vibes, plenty of green tea in the aroma. Avoiding wortiness. Lean, dry body, distinct citric notes, distinct green tea, vaguely bready-malty, low bitterness, well integrated and growing. This is tasty, excellent n/a alternative.
