Light amber coloured body like cream soda with a thin tan head and a bunch of bubbles rising from the bottom and sides. Aroma of hops, guava, pineapple, caramel, corn and a bit of sugar - odd indeed. Light-bodied; Hoppy taste of herbal and grassy hops with a resiny touch and a light bit of tropical fruits later, the beer envelops to a malty, almost oaky dryness. Aftertaste is subtle but efficient - hops definitely make the most of the taste with some light sweetness offsetting the hops a touch. Overall, a less than stellar IPA, but one that was better than I was expected and frankly, one that is better than some others by places you’d expect to have better beers. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in St. Petersburg, Florida on 13-November-2010, sampled in New Paltz, New York on 20-November-2010.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy bright golden color with a large yellow-white head that produced minimal lacing. The aroma was sweet orange, lemon and coriander. The flavor was sweet and tangy with strong orange, lemon and coriander and a hint of must, yeast and wheat. The finish was medium length sweetish citrus. Medium body. nice.

0.33L bottle, small quickly dissapearing head, clear deep golden colour, aroma of peach and apricot with some winey noyes and a hint of citrus, flavours of peach apricot and some citrus at the back, strong but short bitterness with a hint iof alcohol making the beer feel a touch too heavy and thick.

0.33L bottle, small but stable jead, quite clear and a little deep gold colour, yeasty aroma of sweet spices and vanila with a hint of coconut, citrusy flavour with an empathic herbal tea bitterness, and some white fruits, quite dry, long bready sour aftertaste with some aromatic tea in the end. Highly original beer which incorporates some lagery traits without loosing its wheaty character.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. Clear golden with a nice big stable white head. Aroma of citric hops, a bit of malt and some tropical fruits. Sweetish flavor, pretty grainy, with some wheat notes and fruits and a mild hoppy bitter finish with some citrus hints. Medium-bodied. Slightly too sweet but still quite tasty and refreshing.

From my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark golden color with a medium sized soapy white head. The aroma was tangy, corny, sweetish and had a faint vague fruity presence. The flavor was tangy and sour with a vague fruity note. The finish was very short and quickly turned watery. Thin Body. Below average.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 6/21/10

Aroma: Nose is pretty much all mango flavored candy, and not much else
Appearance: A clear golden-orange color with a small white head and a lot of movement in the glass
Flavor: Taste is sweet up-front, quickly turning into a flavor that can only be described as "off"
Palate: The body is fairly light, with a lot of carbonation causing an overly tingly mouthfeel
Overall Impression: It's like 100 degrees outside today in NJ, so it seemed like as good a day as any for a beach-style beer. Anyway, this is beach-style, but not really much of a beer. I have to admit, I do kinda like the smell of mango candy, but this stuff just tastes off. Skip it.
