Bottle. Beer of the month club. Slightly hazy deep golden color with a lovely big stable white head. Aroma of yeast, fruit esters, citrus, coriander, wheat and notes of malt and caramel. Spicy sweetish flavor with some malt, fruity notes, hints of tart citrus, yeast and a drier, moderately bitter finish with hoppy hints. Medium-bodied. Quite enjoyable and easy-drinking.

33 cl bottle. Hazy golden color, small white head, solid lacing. Aroma of fresh fruit. Taste is very malty, with slightly sour mange entering at the middle. Finish is a bit sour and a bit bitter. Hi carbonation. Full body. Not bad.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 6/21/10
Aroma: Nose is pretty much all mango flavored candy, and not much else
Appearance: A clear golden-orange color with a small white head and a lot of movement in the glass
Flavor: Taste is sweet up-front, quickly turning into a flavor that can only be described as "off"
Palate: The body is fairly light, with a lot of carbonation causing an overly tingly mouthfeel
Overall Impression: It's like 100 degrees outside today in NJ, so it seemed like as good a day as any for a beach-style beer. Anyway, this is beach-style, but not really much of a beer. I have to admit, I do kinda like the smell of mango candy, but this stuff just tastes off. Skip it.

12oz bottle pours copper with off white head. The aroma has assertive tones of buttery caramel malts with a thin vague tartness off in the background. The taste reveals the hops as tart grapefruit that only occasionally poke through the veil of buttery diacetyl. There was just enough malty caremelness and bitter grapefruit to keep this thing from becoming a drain pour.

Bottle via a trade with beerbill. Pours with a hazy gold body with an off-white head. Aroma of light lemon, wheat and must. Taste is a bit sour with a light graininess. Donโt see the mild connection, but I donโt mind. Really a mess of an infected beer. Thin, and sour with light carbonation.

Tap @ OTH. pours copper, white head. not too sure where the IPA is in this beer. aroma had notable pale malts presence, weak hop aroma, some caramel. flavor, caramel malts, faint hints of citrus hops, nothing that would cause one think this is an IPA. Hop profile is really nill for the style. Meh!

Bottle: Poured a bright golden color ale with a large foamy white head with average retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light sweet malt with some bland cereal. Taste is not overly complex with some lightly sweet malt with a somewhat refreshing taste of cereal and a light dry hops at the end. Body is fuller then average with OK carbonation. Not bad but nothing too write home either.

12 bottle, trade with Daknole. Poured carefully into a large glass to find a big head of foam. Under that big fizzy head is a slightly dark golden beer color that we can pretend is pale ale. Smell is okay, basic fruit nose. There is mango here. Itโs a mild flavored fruit, so it actually goes well in this beer, giving it a kind of warmly-fermented ale feeling. Beer character is not distinguished, but it lets the fruit work its way in. Just not too exceptional. Starts to taste like fruit extract after a while.
