On tap at Breakside Brewing, pours mostly black with a dark amber tinge and a small tan head. Aroma of dry cocoa powder, burnt malts and some charcoal. Flavour of medium roasty dry bitterness and dry cocoa powder. Finishes wit a dry, bitter cocoa finish. Light-bodied and easy-drinking, but not too memorable. Decent.

On tap at Breakside Brewing, pours a hazy blond wit a small white head. Aroma is very light, with a lemon tartness and some light spices. Flavour brings a refreshing lemon tang above anything and some light wheat. Very light and refreshing - above average for a wit.

Draught. Sweetish aroma, with caramel notes. Some wheatishness in the flavour, like common bread. Hop finish. A hot day beer

Interesting, a Belgian rye stout, IIRC I have never had a rye stout. Aroma is too restrained, but has some good rye bread and cherry notes. I tasted no Brettanomyces in the flavour, but got more cherries, more rye and a good malt backbone. Roast-y finish

Draught. Cloudy yellow with medium head. Full floral aroma. Flavour is restrained, perhaps too restrained. But it has a lasting lekker hop finish.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orangish gold with an off white head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of pine and grapefruit that combines nicely with the gin barrel and has some backing sweet citrus and grain. Flavor has a real nice combination of grapefruit, earthy pine and gin with a bit of backing sweet citrus.

Draught. This was definitely too cold Orange brown with thick white head. Good aroma, tho’ rather faint, balance of hop and malt. Rather thin but pleasant flavour. They need to serve this at an an ale, not a lager temperature

Hops are bursting in the nose. Sweat sock and citrus notes. Flavors more piney and juniper especially at the finish, which featured a nice lingering bitterness.

750 ml bottle shared by Tim by way of bvc. "barrel-aged gose" hand written on a Breakside Brewery label. Pours a piss yellow color with a small but long lasting head. Aroma is strong coriander and citric heavy lactic. I am loving it, right on the money. Flavor is much less citric and an easygoing, pleasant, mild lactic brew. It is so damn drinkable with a good level of carbonation, active but not too strong. I wish I could drink this all the time.
