Cloudy dark golden over on the brownish side, with a solid off white head. Lovely nice mellow aroma. Grapefruit hoppy, tropical fruity and a bit more than usual caramel. The caramel notes is strong in this one. It added a fine dimension to it. A nice thick body, but still quite easy drinkable. A fine carbonation helped a lot. The beer is bit over on the sweet side, but very fine balanced with a nice bitterness. Could easily felled over to the way to sweet side. Powerful tasty flavor. The deep caramel taste is really nice together with some tropical fruit and a mellow nice grapefruit hoppy back. I really enjoyed this one a lot!

A really nice unclear yellow color with a fine white head. The head ends up in a white layer after a while, but it gives a fine lacing. Very strong citrus in the aroma, together with some tropical fruits and some grapefruit. The brewer says it will be a hint of citrus in this one. I must admit that I disagree a lot. The citrus hits you like a rocket. So I put on The song Rocket Ride with Kiss and drink the rest. Hmmm the citrus really kick ass in my mouth. The citrus I have been talking about makes this beer powerful bitter and long dry ending. Well I am not going to tell you that this is bad. It is a really fresh and easy drinkable ale. But I would prefer some more mild citrus.

Looks really great. Cloudy orange golden with a fine white head. Good lacing also. Typical german hefe weisse aroma with wheat and banana. Also a fine fresh citric touch. Solid body. Tad sweet and a fine bitterness. Good balance. Flavor containing banana, wheat, yeast and citrus. Some grassy notes in the end when it got warmer. The cascade did really work out fine in this beer. Fresh, tasty and easy drinkable.

13.08.2014, tap @ Café Sara:
Nice slightly fizzy mediumlasting head, almost clear. Aroma is slightly floral and yeasty, flowers, yeast, wheat, hay, citrus peel, banana, weeds. Taste is harsh yeasty, flowers, almond essence, yeast, hay, weeds, dried grain, wheat, dough. Medium bitterness, harsh watery mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea, and more like a crossbreed between a wheat ale and a saison than a hefeweizen in my mind...

Starts with a fine unclear orange brown body with a fine white head. Looks actually quite good. Unclear brown is not to often good looking. I was surprised that both the coffee and the hoppy aroma was so divided. And both very clear. Very nice. A solid body but not to thick. Together with a mild (not to mild) carbonation, made it very easy drinkable. Dangerously well hidden alcohol. Solid flavor. And not just a big soup with all flavors mixed together. Coffee, toffee, tropical fruity and grapefruit hoppy. A really solid and well balanced ale. To be able to make an classic on batch #6, that is truly impressive. A highly recommendable ale!

A fine unclear deep golden color with a big white head that unfortunately falls to fast. Ends up in a white layer that stays there. Fresh nice aroma. Some wheat, yeast, mild banana and mild citrus. Ok body with a fine balance between bitterness and sweetness. Quite ok carbonation. Could have been a little bit higher. Smooth fresh flavor. Not a typical german hefe weisse. More citrus than normal. Felled in quite nice together with some banana, wheat and mild yeast. Nice refreshing brew.
