Third, gravicask, shared with Finn at Twickenham Beer and Cider Festival. Patchy fawn-coloured head, scattered lacing, black body. Doughy, mid-sweet malty nose. Chocolate malty taste on a backbone of lactose. Rather sweet malty ending. Accepted. (24.10.2019).

Bottle from Garsons Farm Shop. Pine and resin aroma. Amber gold. Creamy white head just clings to the rim. Medium bitter. Some spice and citrus. Marmalade and quinine. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Nice enough without being overly lipsmacking. English IPA.

Bottle from Garson's Farm Shop. Initial cherry aroma before coffee and roast come through. Dark and glossy. Cola tint. Beige head soon retreats to the rim. Bitter with a sour edge. A kreiky coffee flavour with a vague sweet cherryade on the periphery and chocolate in the finish. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long finish. It's fine. However after an initial interesting start it becomes muted.

Cask at 20th Kingston beer & cider festival, Kingston, Surrey. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a small off white head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, dark fruit aroma and taste. Nice.

Many thanks to BeardedAvenger for this bottle. Smooth grainy and mild beginning. Dry and grainy with a watery body. Not too deep, sessionable grainy in the end.

Bottle from Garsons Farm Shop. As soon as I started pouring the bottle into the glass I got a whiff of the perfumed citrus aroma. Pale gold. Frothy white head. Medium bitter with a tart ending. Thin. Watery. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. It is one noted but a zesty Golden Ale. Makes me think of a citrusy Indian dish. Good stuff.

Bottle from Garsons Farm Shop. Obvious liquorice and blackcurrant aroma, as per those sweets you can buy. Dark and glossy cola brown. Thick and creamy beige head. Less sweet than I was expecting - thatvelement is more into the finish. Prior to that a light bitterness with a tang of sourness. Hickory and liquorice. Light . Thin. Average carbonation. Low key astringent finish. I'd love to score this more highly. However whilst it's pleasant enough, it's too thin and too safe, especially after the strong start with aroma.

Pours a clear pale straw yellow colour with a tiny thin head. Aroma is lemon and grassy hops and musty. A moderately sweet taste, light pale malts and light citrus flavours and citrus bitterness. Crisp, clean and light bodied.
