Bottle shared in Manchester Airbnb. A nut brown coloured pour with a light tan head. Aroma is earthy lacto, plum, nutty malts, plum. Flavour is composed of sharp, green apple, lacto, nutty hazelnut liquorice... Palate is semi sweet, tangy green apple, woody brown bread, frothy carbonation. Interesting.

Bottle shared between IMBC sessions - cheers to Dan. Pours deep brown with a creamy tan head. Interesting stuff, a little funky and buggy, some bitter ash, tangy dried berries, old leather, dry cocoa. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. More aged, tangy berries in the close, some baking cocoa, scorched earth. Pretty solid.

Bottle thanks to Dan. It pours cloudy dark brown with a medium beige head. The aroma is tangy, oily, plummy, juicy, damson, jammy, fruit pie and fruit cake. The taste is dry, quite tart, zingy, sour plum, damson, cherry cola, jammy fruity sourness, Dr Pepper, Dandelion & Burdock, oak and leather with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Quite interestin stuff.

500ml bottle from Vessel Beer Shop, Plymouth, Pours lightly hazed golden with a loose white head. Nose is fruity with saison yeast. Taste: light sweet, dry, spicy notes. Medium bodied, light carb (although the bottle leaked when uncapped). Dry, light spicy finish. Lacks complexity but it's easy drinking & uncomplicated

ABV: 7.0%. Unclear dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, sour, tart. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, tart, vinegar, fruit, dark malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20171013]

Draft at the Moulsham Tap, Chelmsford. Pours amber with a small lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramel, alcohol, fruit, malt, herbs and spices. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation.

On keg at Small Bar, Bristol. Pours murky golden yellow with a white head. Aromas of doughy bread, yeast, herbal, hint of lemon. The taste follows the aroma along with some hay & funk. Medium bodied, average carb. Dryish close. A decent mixed ferm Belgian style golden ale. Definitely a brewery to watch but production is tiny

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2017 - Hackney. Pours unclear, deep orange with a frothy, mostly white head. The aroma is interesting, with some ripening citrus fruits, orange, grass, pine, crackers. Light-medium sweet flavour with a light soapy note, some meringue and tangerine, rindy bitterness, doughy malts. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with grassy and rindy bitterness, more doughy and also grainy pale malts, nips of berries, ripe orange. Novel, but just so so overall.
