Story of The Booth Brewing Co.(“The Booth”) began in May 2013 as a small pub in an alleyway off of Gyeonglidan, founded by Korean medicine doctor Heeyoon Kim, financial analyst Sunghoo Yang and The Economist correspondent Daniel Tudor. The three friends had a simple philosophy: find your fun and be the best at it. And that fun was beer.

Fast-forward to today, we became the first Asian brewery to take charge into the world’s largest craft beer market. Our mix of fun-based philosophy, unique artwork, and fresh Humboldt-made beer has started to excite many Californians, as well as the tastebuds of many beer judges.

Since then, we have been breaking industry boundaries: from hosting the largest craft beer festival in Korea to pioneering 100% cold-chain distribution to launching Mikkeller-collaborated Tae(dong)gang Pale Ale, a challenge to North Korea’s national beer. We collaborate with artists, musicians, and diverse brands that share a similar passion for fun, across all industries including sports, fashion, coffee, and arts. We also created Korea's first and only pro-LGBT beer last year, a part of Seoul Pride Film Festival.

Draught at MBCC. Green Session. Next to clear amber coloured body. Off-white head blaketing the glass. Herbal hops and brown malty aromas. Taste of caramel, almond and dough. Malt-driven ending, mid sweet. Just alright. (Copenhagen 13.05.2017).

Draught at MBCC Blue Session. Filmy layer, spotty lacing, cloudy golden body. Rich aroma of pineapple and citrus. Succulent hop fruity flavours including pine, pineapple and grapefruit. Fruity bitterness to the ending. Rounded and smooth in the mouth. Likable. (Copenhagen 12.05.2017).

Tap, sample. Tsated on the 13/05/2017 at MBCC (Copenhagen). Clear amber colour with a thin white lacing head. Aroma of grains, yeast, fruits and sweet malts. Taste is almost the same with a malty finish. Not intense finish and little rusty aftertaste. Next one please!

MBCC. Clear golden with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hop and caramel. Flavour is malt, fruit, hop, caramel, medium sweet and a little bitter.

From tap. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is hoppy, pine and slight grapefruity. Bitter, solid hoppy. Peachy and grapefruity. Medium dry, slight pine note. Bitter and fruity far finish.
