Description

We started brewing in 2011 and brewed very happily in our original shed in the grounds of The Beerhouse for 5 years until we outgrew the space. In 2016, we moved to a new shed with a shiny 12 barrel craft brewery.

Sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Aroma is of light funk, straw, hay and hints of mango. Taste is slightly spicy, straw, and a salty sour finish. Not really a fan.

Cask at the Bury St. Edmunds Beer Festival with Grumbo and ITFCDan. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel, cooking chocolate, cocoa, pine and tropical fruits. Taste has a nice balance of sweetness and bitterness. Quite smooth with good body. A very good BIPA.

22/8/2024. Cask at the 32nd East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival. Pours close to black with a small bubble beige head. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, roasted malt, citrus, tropical fruit, piney, ash. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Smooth with average to soft carbonation. Very nicely done.

6/7/2024. Cask at 27th Festival of Beer and Brewing, Stowmarket. Pours clear golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is buttery, caramel, citrus, malt. Quite sweet, mild bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Disappointing.
