Bottle thanks to Fergy. It pours lightly hazy with a thick, white head. The aroma is bready, sweet lager, orange blossom, straw, hay, grass, earth and a hint of mint. The taste is crisp, bitter, floral, soapy citrus, orange peel, zesty, white bread and waxy peel with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A touch soapy, but overall not bad.

Can at Level 42 tasting, thanks to Fergoose, 16/08/16. Light golden with a decent off white swirl. Nose is melon, toasted grain, light hops, orange peel, bread dough. Taste comprises bready malts, grain, straw, light citric slithers. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent for style.

Bottled 500ml. -Muddy brown porter, medium sized beige head, chicory nose. Light roasted malt, chocolate, chicory, notes of nuts and coffee with ashy like dry finish. Maybe a bit too strong on the ash side but overall ok porter.

Bottled 500ml. -Hazy darker golden coloured, small white head, mild yeasty nose. Sweet malty, yeasty, light caramel, banana and notes of vegetables with touch of spices in rather sweet finish. Not bad.

Bottled 660ml. -Umclear dark golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, mild fruity nose. Moderate sweet malty, light fruity, some caramel and notes of oranges with rather dry and bitter finish. Drinkable.

Bottled 500ml. -Cloudy golden coloured, minimal white head that went away fast, pretty neutral nose. Sweetish malty, light stale peachy, some caramel and weak hoppy with short bitterish finish. Usual and boring.

33 cl bottle from Budapest @ home. Black color. Beige head with reasonable retention. Aroma’s: roasted malts, coffee/mocha-ish, red fruit/berries. Retronasal it’s roasted, fruity sour, coffee-ish. Flavor is light sweet, roasted. Body is on the thin side. More roast in the finish, moderate bitter. A bit more body would have been better, but a nice take on the style anyway.
