[ As Harvest Red Dream Barley Wine ].Clear dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, ash tray, smoke. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, smoke, ash, ash tray, sweet malt, alcohol. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, dark malt, light licorice wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt, sharp. Cask at the 22nd Egham Beer Festival. Bright amber with no head; fruity aroma with some pear; somewhat oily body, with an orchard fruit taste, sweet but with an immediate spicy bitterness; and a surprisingly warming finish. A good bitter.
