Bottle 330ml. @ 33th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2016, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Csupor Tántorgó ParIPA ].Unclear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, old hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, caramel, old hops, sweet malt, fruity malt, fruity hops, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161202] 6-4-7-3-13

Draught at Lehuto. Pale yellow color, small creamy head. Aroma is malty, with some lactic notes. Taste was more sweetish than sour. Not bad, especially when cold, but I expected more sourness.

Semmi hab, félbarna szín, szűretlen. Fűszeres, vaníliás, enyhén whiskey-s illat. Íze fűszeres, vaníliás, enyhe whiskey-s és hordós aromákkal. Kissé száraz, közepesen testes, erősen szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Nem rossz, de kicsit markánsabban is jelen lehetne a Nikka.

Közepes, tartós hab, félbarnába hajló narancsos szín. Narancsos, citrusos, icipicit édeskés illatok, déligyümölcsös beütéssel. Édes, lágy tejes-krémes, vaníliás ízek, narancsos-citrusos, déligyümölcsös aromákkal. Testes, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Kellemes desszertsör.

Kicsi, hamar elillanó hab, fekete szín. Csokis, kakaós, enyhén fűszeres illat. Csokis, kakaós, enyhén fűszeres és aszalt gyümölcsös ízek. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas, enyhén kesernyés. Kellemes, nem túl intenzív, de jó egyensúlyú ízvilág. Nagyon jó kis ivósör, a Guinness jut róla eszembe, de annál tartalmasabb.

Bottle from the Start Craft Beer Bar, Budapest. Poured a clear copper colour with a big frothy white head. The aroma is tropical fruit, light fudge toffee, light hop. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a smooth grainy, rich fruity, metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Kandalló Kézműves Pub, Budapest. Poured a murky straw colour with a long-lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, floral hop. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a rather unpleasant grainy earthy malt hop bitter palate and an unpleasant floral bitter aftertaste. An APA? There was no fruit at all. The hop combo really didn’t work for me.

Tap at Kandalló Kézműves Pub, Budapest. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, coffee, dark chocolate, raisins, tart fruits. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, light sweet with a creamy butter roast, light fruit, hop bitter palate and a medium bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Pig’s Ear Fest. Bottle. Hazy deep amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy and dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Soft malts, some mild creamy sweetness contrasts with bitterish caramel. Hop spice and ripe orange,ripe lemon on the demi dry finish. Serviceable.
