Bottle, at the brewpub. It’s a dark golden beer with a medium sized white head. The aroma has a little maltyness in the back, with grass and pine cones doing most of the work. There’s a faint anise touch in the flavor, guess it’s some hop thing, with grass, pine cones and a decent bitterness. Some pale malts too. Decent carbonation level, medium body, quite dry on the palate. Fruity, grassy finish with some bitterness. Nothing extraordinary going on here, but it’s an easy drinkable beer I guess wouldn’t scare anyone. 140624

Bottle, at the brewpub. A clear, dark golden beer topped by an off-white head of moderate size. Pale malts in a light grainy pilsner way, combined with an ale-ish fruityness in the aroma. Some apples, pears and a hint of caramel. Pretty similar flavor that could do with some more bitterness. It’s not sweet in any way though, it’s dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation. Medium body. Lasting fruity finish with caramel hints and pale malts. Quite decent this one, but a bit weird in a way too. 140624

On tap at the brewpub. A dark reddish brown beer, looking crystal clear, and topped by an off-white to light beige head. Heavily roasted coffee dominates both aroma and flavor, making it a bit one dimensional, but it’s sure nice anyway. Dark chocolate and some caramel blends in. Some roasted kind of bitterness too. Medium body and pleasant carbonation. Lasting roasted coffee-ish finish. Pretty nice this one, although lacking depth. 140624

On tap at the brewpub. A clear, golden beer topped by a white head. Quite mild aroma, with a little citrus and generic fruityness, and a diacetyl note I could easily do without. A bit more than a note though. It’s quite fruity in the flavor, and there’s unfortunately diacetyl in there as well. Citrus peel and hints of pine cones. Decent bitterness. Medium body, quite dry, and with a nice carbonation level. Short finish with fruityness and some butterscotch. Not impressive at all, but at least drinkable. 140624

On tap at the brewpub. It looks lovely in the glass, with a dense, two-finger off-white head sitting patiently on top of a clear, amber body. The aroma has caramel dominating, with a generic malty and fruity touch. Soft on the palate, medium bodied and quite dry. Caramel and a nice fruityness in the flavor, as well as a balanced bitterness. Caramel and fruits in the finish. Quite tasteful and easy drinkable this one. 140624

On tap at the brewpub. A clear, dark golden beer with an off-white head. Some caramel on the nose, fruity hoppyness and a touch of alcohol. It’s full-bodied and nicely carbonated, with flavors of caramel maltiness, some fruity and lighlty grassy hops and a decent bitterness. Caramel malts, grassy and fruity hops and a little bitterness in the end. A decent beer that fails big time to lead my thoughts towards Christmas. 140624

On tap at the brewpub. A quite pale golden beer, topped by a white head. Some pale malts, a floral, grassy and faintly citrusy touch and some biscuit in the aroma. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, which besides that has more or less the same elements found in the aroma. Hop forward, but far from pushing. Mediu to full body and a nice carbonation level. Bitter, fruity finish with some grains in the back. A decent one, but not very APA in style. 140624
