Bottle from Coles Liqourland, Melbourne. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is cardboard malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light cardboard mineral malt, watery light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice label but that's where it ends.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ The Stat Improver Tasting ] - Saxo, Højbjerg - Aarhus, Denmark. [ As Burleigh FIGJAM IPA ].Unclear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, moderate hoppy, pine, old hops, figs. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, fruity malt, old hops. This one’s almost as thick as fig jam - you could spread it on your toast. The malts are quite full on, producing a sweet honey, raisin, peach and mandarin cocktail, plus a modest hop aftertaste. I love my big IPAs but I’m finding this one a little too much.
