Bottle from Coles Liqourland, Melbourne. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is cardboard malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light cardboard mineral malt, watery light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice label but that's where it ends.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ The Stat Improver Tasting ] - Saxo, Højbjerg - Aarhus, Denmark. [ As Burleigh FIGJAM IPA ].Unclear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, moderate hoppy, pine, old hops, figs. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, fruity malt, old hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170617] 7-3-6-3-12

Taster at GABS Auckland 2017. Pours brown. Banana, big cloves, bread, bubblegum, raisins. Pretty true to style, and pretty tasty.

Bottle at Højbjerg tasting. Pours slightly hazy pale amber with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of floral hop, malt, fruit, biscuit and caramel. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average carbonation.

This one’s almost as thick as fig jam - you could spread it on your toast. The malts are quite full on, producing a sweet honey, raisin, peach and mandarin cocktail, plus a modest hop aftertaste. I love my big IPAs but I’m finding this one a little too much.
