Description
Muifelbrouwerij is located in The Netherlands in Oss, Noord-Brabant. Our mission is to develop, produce and sell tasty and unique craft beers. We started in 2007 and we are extremely proud on our brewery and our craft beers. In our head-quarters at the Vikingenweg in Oss we have a tasting room, our warehouse and since January 2019 our own brewhouse, fermentation tanks and filling line.

The name Muifelbrouwerij might need some explanation. Muifel is a non-existing word and is derived from Megen and duivel. Megen is a small city in The Netherlands where the brewery started on small scale (20 liter brews) for private consumption. Duivel is Dutch for Devil. Muifel was the name of one of the beers from the early days, inspired by the famous Belgian Duvel beer.

Bottle. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish malty caramel aroma with yeasty hints. Sweetish malty yeasty caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish.

33 cl bottle from Slijterij Zeewijck. Color is deep dark brown. Beige head with enough retention. Aroma’s: sweet, brown sugar, bit alcohol, bit raisins/dried fruit, milk chocolate. Flavor is sweet with notes of dried fruit. Medium bodied. Not much of a aftertaste, just a bit dry. OK.

From a bottle at a tasting at ABC Beers in den Haag. Very hazy golden hue with a thick head. Notes of cardamom, grapefruit and cane sugar. Mild sweet finish.

Bottled@chriso. Reddish amber colour, beige head. Aroma is mild toasted malts, toffee, caramel, some yeasty notes as well as mild alcohol. Flavour is fruity, floral, caramelly, yeasty, some ripe fruitys and toffee. Mild spices as well as it gets warmer. Hides the abv rather well in the flavour.

Bottle shared at ABC Beers. Pours hazy brown with a small tan. Aroma of malt, caramel, licorice and dark fruits. Flavour is eave sweet with a sharp kick and little bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Bottle 330ml.Light unclear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, sour fruit, moderate yeasty, yeast, light phenol. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, yeasty, candy sweet yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120523]

Light hazy and dark golden colour with a white head. Nice hoppy aroma. A good malty background with a rich bitterness. Light fruity.

Hazy light brown colour. Slightly spicy aroma. Flavour also has spicy coriander, yeast notes. Pleasant balance of malt and spice.
