Bottle. A minimal sized white head sits on top of an almost clear orange-golden body. The aroma is fruity, peppery and piney, with some notes of banana and cloves. Tropical fruits mostly. It’s quite dry on the palate, rather high on carbonation, too high for my preference, and medium bodied. Sort of sticky on the tongue, but not really sweet either. Peppery, fruity and lightly piney flavor, with a lasting finish. I’m not too fond of the mouthfeel of this one, but the peppery and piney touch are really nice. Will I buy it again? Perhaps. 170522

Small white head doesn’t last. Hazy deep orangey body with light carbonation. Fruity mealy papery aroma with freshly cut wood notes. Dryish resiny papery taste with mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish cardboard and flour aftertaste with resiny notes. It’s kind of OK. I guess I’ll finish the bottle, but not buying this again. (0.33l bottle, from Meny Strømmen.)

Bottle, at Javel. A hazy dark golden to amber colored beer with a dense finger thick off-white head leaving curtains. It’s piney and resiny on the nose, with some sweetish pale malts. It’s full bodied, with a pleasant carbonation level. Some lightly roasted malts, dried fruit notes and a good dash of caramel malts, fruityness and some jelly hints. Lasting finish. An old school oops that sure is too malty for me. 170520

From tap. Pours clear and golden amber with a small tan head. Aroma is smoked, wooden and meaty. Sweet, wooden, smoked and slight meaty. Dense malty and lingering smoked and meaty into the far finish.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty, spiced and slight herbal. Sweet, toasted malty and caramelish. Herbal, sweet malty and caramelish into the finish.
