On tap at Elliott Bay Brewpub, pours a hazy pumpkin orange with a small white head. Aroma gives off pumpkin puree and the usual associated spices: nutmeg and cinnamon. Flavour of pumpkin puree and t a lesser extent, cinnamon and nutmeg. Not the most full-bodied of pumpkin ales, but nicely flavoured. Solid stuff, for what these gimmicky pumpkin ales can be.

On tap at Elliott Bay Brewpub, pours a hazy copper golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of fresh floral hops and some doughy malts - smells a bit English. Flavour is very fresh, with lots of floral hops and lots of doughy malts to back. Very full-flavoured and drinks easily. Very good fresh hop ale, though drinks almost more like an ESB.

On tap at Elliott Bay Brewpub, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of sweet cereal malts and a modest hop backing. Flavour of sweet cereal malts, some grains and just enough hops. No ABV detectable, but drinks more solid than a regular lager. Decent stuff.

Draught at Naked City, Seattle
Black ink color. Basic aroma of roasted malt, with some dark chocolate. Roasted malt flavor, with hidden qualities, some spicy trace for example, and dark salty chocolate; but the final is too dry.
Quite good.

On tap at Naked City, pours a hazy vibrant orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of perfume, floral notes, tropical fruits and booze. Flavour of candied sugar, nail polish remover, citrus hops and caramel malt - but the blend is off. What stands out are the nail polish remover, booze and sweetness, as well as a distasteful astringency on the finish. Not well-crafted.

On tap at Brouwer's for Big Wood, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of light bourbon, roasted malts and chalk. Flavour is quite liqueur-like and boozy, with bourbon, vanilla and roasted malt. Complex and boozy. Very nice.

On tap at Elliott Bay West Seattle location. This was the best beer from Elliott Bay I have ever had. I was very happy I got to try this. Pours out black topped with a nice tan head. Aroma was so good cherries, chocolate, wood, vanilla, and rich roast. Taste was just as good with a nice light sweetness. A good fruit note along with a nice malt back.

Amber-golden with slight haze. Approximately malty on the nose - the aroma was kind of indistinct. Lots of heat on the palate. Some woody notes. Only vague accents of the base beer. That said, it has a nice flavour like Tabasco without the vinegar, maybe a jalapeno finish.

On draught at Belmont Station in Portland. This beer pours black with a medium rocky white head that dissipates steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, hops and roasted malt. Medium body with a nice roasted malt character with notes of yeast, citrusy hops and a slight herbal flavor. The finish is hoppy with a lingering bitterness. Pretty good overall.

Normally like the Cascadian Dark Ale style, but not this one. Dark brown. Molassesy, somewhat buttery nose. Bitter, with light chocolate and little nuance. Bitter chocolate, little else.
