Draft pour to a stem at Elliott Bay, Lake City. A near black pour, thin film head. A really unique beer here. Toasty malts on the nose. Flavor is cool up front, toasty malt, a saison feel still intact. Listed as a black table beer. Really interesting stuff. Enjoyed this.

Draft pour pint at Elliott Bay, Lake City. Golden, slight pale pour. A refreshing beer, fit for early afternoon enjoyment, or any time of day I suppose. Subtle grainy aroma. Flavor is a soft, slight dry straw like grain constant, with a cooling finish. Nice Belgian like character. Solid session saison.

Draft pour at Brother Barrel. Darker cola brown pour. Massive whiskey nose here, some doughy malt, semi sweet. Flavor is an exceptionally smooth bourbon constant, soft chocolate, even softer tart note. Very nice whiskey profile that doesn’t overpower, but leaves a lingering impression. An awesome blend here. Hopefully it’s not too late to try the previous entries in the series. Very good stuff.

Draft pour pint at Elliott Bay, Lake City. Can’t say I’ve ever seen a hefe brewed as an anniversary beer around here, so my expectations are high for this beer that fits in with my typically avoided styles list. This works. Very pleasant flavor, easy drinking, very refreshing. Hazy golden in color. Very creamy. Soft spice notes. Some underpowering wheat. Nicely made hefe.

Draft pour pint at the Elliott Bay Lake City. Pours a clean copper amber with an uneven foam head. Rich malt forward aroma. Thick body, cream, with little flavor to go off of. Caramel malt, less sweet than the aroma suggests. Slight bite, bit not metallic. Clean flavor. Light and refreshing. Overall a solid amber lager here.
