Cask at the St. Albans Beer & Cider Festival 2017. Pours very slightly hazy dark gold with a small white head. Aroma of very light hop, fruit, malt, floral notes. Medium plus sweetness and light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Bittersweet biscuit finish. Quite lager like.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2016 [ The 41th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 9th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Emal Legio ].Clear dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted - toasted, caramel, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted - toasted, caramel, wood, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [ As Emal Castra ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light hoppy, fruity, UK yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, fruity malt, pale malt, UK yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161013] 6-2-6-3-12

Fra cask på Imperial, Exeter 28 Sep 16. Gyldenbrun. Litt uklar. Filmskum. Litt lacing. Så vidt litt fruktaroma. Smaken tørket frukt. Blir syrlig bitter etter hvert. Tørr avslutning.

Half pint, cask ale at JDW’s Imperial. Mear clear, warm golden body. Low white head blanketing the glass. Restrained smell of dusty hops, slightly perfumed. Grainy malts to the taste buds joined by pears and citric hints. Short lived mid-sweet fruity ending. Accepted (Exeter 28.09.2016).

Tried at the Nottingham Beer Festival 2016. Pale amber to golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are light malty and fruity hops, with a touch of caramel.

Bottle shared with Sarkynorthener cheers Martin; dark chestnut brown pour with a small creamy off white head, aroma dark fruits in syrup, taste is sweet, dark fruits, some molasses, robust malts.
