Süßlicher Antrunk, etwas herb. Hefig, minimal zuckrig. Wenig alkoholisch, fruchtiger werdend, zum Ende trockener. OK. 11/9/9/9/9/9

Blind tasting @ home. Pours a pretty clear dark yellow appearance with an off white head. A lot of banana and bubblegum in the aroma. Slightly light bodied. Moderately sweet and spicy. Low bitterness. A lot of apple, banana, and pear notes in the flavor. Ok but a little one dimensional.

At the DC Craft Beer Festival. Poured a dark hazy cola color with an off-white head. Aroma was light malty notes with some fruity and spice notes. Flavor was some roasted malts, fruity notes, nice mellowed spices. Enjoyable.

Crystal clear copper coloured body with golden highlights and a thick, four centimetre tall white head and thousands of small bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of oddly fragrant peaches, oranges, sugar, candy and some alcohol - very interesting and not very traditional at all. Light-bodied; Sharp pungent malt, alcohol and candy flavours dominate with a deeply bittering metallic and funky note. Aftertaste shows sweetness which is candy-like and a bitter, pungent funky fruit-flavoured mess. Overall, a pretty bad offering with the taste very close to the smell - a funky, fake-sugared beer with no real traditional tastes - just a mess as you start to drink it. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Washington, D.C. (Foggy Bottom) on 10-January-2014 for US$2.49 sampled at home in Washington on 08-March-2014.

Scopey 5K Tasting in deepest Croydonia. Can thanks to Leighton. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and smooth and airy. Light airy malt with a trace of creamy lactose. Light citric peel bitterness - grapefruit and orange. Tasty little number.

Can split at Scopey’s 5K Extravaganza of Oompah Band meets doorbell music, thanks to Ell Kay Ess - 15/02/14. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white head that clears to a swirl and edgework. Nose is lightly skunked hops, apricot jam, bitter orange, melon, light pine, bread dough. Taste comprises orange pith, mineral notes, mandarin, jammy fruits, hoppy punch. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough IPA.

Can, thanks to Leighton at my 5K tasting. It pours clear golden-orange with a thick off-white head. The nose is juicy orange, mandarin, pine, marmalade, prickly alcohol and dough. The taste is orange, grapefruit, good bitterness, light dough, pepper, resin, light grass and some alcohol with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Solid IPA.

On tap at RBWG 2014. Pours a near clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of hay and earthy wheat with a bit of sweetness and clove. Flavor has earthy wheat with a bit of clove and banana, a touch thin.
